More about me!
Hello! Thanks for checking out my profile. From a young age, I've been drawn to problem-solving and overcoming challenges. My path to becoming a UX Designer began with self-directed learning through online courses and mastering design tools while working full-time. Now, having furthered my studies in Toronto, I'm eager to apply my knowledge in real-world scenarios.
People often recognized me as "the quiet and artistic kid" while growing up. I have a genuine love for listening to people's stories, making me a trusted and reliable friend and colleague. Despite being somewhat shy, I thoroughly enjoy interacting with people. Engaging in university activities, taking on design roles, and organizing events with colleagues were moments of pure joy to me. The satisfaction of seeing what my team accomplished together is beyond words.
During my studies, I worked as an office assistant in a language center to put my Spanish skills into practice. This experience provided hands-on exposure to office administration and customer service, working with people from diverse backgrounds. After graduation, I transitioned into a role as a creative copywriter, translating innovative ideas into impactful social media campaigns. The fast-paced digital marketing environment honed my ability to adapt swiftly to new challenges. Now, I'm confidently prepared for the next phase of my journey as a UX Designer.

Other things that I enjoy
-
Music: I sing and play the guitar. Mostly self-taught. I also performed in a restaurant and on the streets with my friend in Hong Kong. I'm probably the most confident when I am performing music!
-
Photography: I like it when it's sunny and I can wander in the city without destinations and take random photos with my film camera. I was the happiest when it was summer in Toronto.
-
Languages: Growing up in a trilingual city has given me the ability to communicate with lots of people in the world already, but I still love learning foreign languages because it's so fun and satisfying to talk to people in their native languages. (I still remember my Colombian classmate's face when I first talked to him in Spanish!)
